Future Energy Dynamics was formed in 2019 as an independent LLC by Larry Emanuel and Jesse Weidner. Our mission at Future Energy Dynamics is to service clients of all walks of life in the Midwest to ensure they are using the least amount of energy to achieve the highest levels of comfort in their homes.
For new homes, this is accomplished with a full HERS or Energy Star rating (a systematic study with multiple inspections of the home during the construction process to ensure maximum operating efficiency.)
For existing homes, this is done by providing home energy assessments and providing recommendations of retrofits based on a cost-benefit analysis of the upgrade for the home.
History
Before the creation of Future Energy Dynamics Larry and Jesse gained valuable experience in the Home Energy Diagnostics Department for the largest energy rating company in the state of Nebraska. The daily operations for diagnostics team members consisted of specifically scheduling and traveling to client homes and perform contracted energy rating services. Between Larry and Jesse, the entire Omaha area was serviced; together they would perform home energy services on eight to ten homes a day with services ranging from home energy assessments to thermal barrier checks and blower door/duct blast testing. The company footprint covered all of eastern Nebraska as well as the entire state and midwest region.
Between Larry and Jesse, approximately 1200 homes were HERS tested annually. Additionally, countless existing homes were provided with a home energy assessment. A major focus of all work assignments is attention to the clients' individual needs as well as accuracy in processing of the documents required by the RESNET and Energy Star programs.
The company's long term goals include working to help update all types of homes, existing and newly built, to the most efficient practices. By working towards these goals; Future Energy Dynamics strives to help facilitate the transition to lower carbon-emitting society by ensuring that everyone has access to the knowledge needed to operate their homes efficiently. Since the inception of the company, the focus has been on servicing smaller, independent builders committed to implementing home energy measures designed to improve overall efficiencies. By being selective about the companies clients, it is able to more closely monitor each account and provide the high quality, transparent services they deserve.

Larry Emanuel
Larry Emanuel is co-owner of Future Energy Dynamics. His extensive home energy assessment experience prepared him to team up with his partner to form a home energy rating company. Larry has an extensive career in facility management. His professional background includes serving as a college housing administrator, retirement facility director, and a regional asset manager. Establishing a client-centered company in Future Energy Dynamics Larry hopes to help improve the overall comfort and efficiency of modern home environments.

Jesse Weidner
One of Jesse's life goals is to get people to stop burning dinosaurs in the form of fossil fuels. His plan to achieve this goal is to couple his skills in customer service and sales with his knowledge and passion for technology to help clear the confusion about energy use in this country and reduce the overall energy consumption of the United States. Through understanding, leadership, and strategic problem solving he looks to make the world our children will inherit a cleaner more sustainable place to live so they can enjoy the same clean water and air as the generations before them.
Jesse has extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software. He has designed and built countless computer systems over the years with goals ranging from computer-assisted design and photo editing to home and business security systems. His understanding of technology and the hardware/software that drives it is an incredible asset to Future Energy Dynamics and thus our clients.
