About Future Energy Dynamics
Future Energy Dynamics was founded in 2019 by Larry Emanuel and Jesse Weidner as an independent LLC. Our mission is to help homeowners across the Midwest use the least amount of energy to achieve the highest levels of comfort in their homes.
For new construction, we provide complete HERS® or ENERGY STAR® rating services, including multiple inspections throughout the building process to ensure maximum energy efficiency.
For existing homes, we offer comprehensive home energy assessments and cost-effective upgrade recommendations based on detailed cost-benefit analyses.
History
Before founding Future Energy Dynamics, Larry and Jesse built deep expertise working in the Home Energy Diagnostics Department of Nebraska’s largest energy rating company. As part of a highly mobile field team, they traveled extensively across the region performing energy audits, duct leakage tests, and blower door diagnostics.
Together, they provided services for 8–10 homes per day, covering everything from comprehensive assessments to targeted testing. Their work spanned the greater Omaha area, all of eastern Nebraska, and much of the Midwest.
This adds up to thousands of HERS ratings, ENERGY STAR certifications, and hundreds of home energy assessments—all delivered with a reputation for client-focused service, technical accuracy, and strict compliance with RESNET and ENERGY STAR® standards.
Our Vision
At Future Energy Dynamics, we’re committed to advancing energy efficiency in both new and existing homes. By helping families and builders access modern energy solutions, we support a future where:
Comfort and efficiency go hand in hand.
Smaller builders receive the same high-quality support as large firms.
Every client gets transparent, personalized service.
Our work enables homeowners to save energy and money—while contributing to a more sustainable, lower-carbon society.
